M.J. Kang
M.J. Kang is a playwright and actor based in Toronto, Ontario. Her plays include Blessings, produced by Tarragon Theatre, Noran Bang: The Yellow Room, produced by Cahoots Theatre, and Hee Hee: Tales From the White Diamond Mountain, produced by Blyth Festival Theatre. She has been playwright-in-residence at Nightwood Theatre and Cahoots Theatre, as well as having taken part in the Banff Playwrights Colony and Tarragon Playwrights Unit. As an actor, she is better known as Becky Snow on C.B.C's Riverdale. She just recently finished touring in Youtheatre and Young People's Theatre's The Other Side of the Closet by Ed Roy. Currently, she is working on the musical version of Hee Hee and her first novel -- Predictable Engagements.
