Marty Chan

Best known in Edmonton for his stage plays and CBC radio commentaries, Marty has been writing for over eight years. His most recent play, a political satire titled The Old Boys' Club was produced by Workshop West Theatre. Marty has also worked on both sides of the camera on the TV series Jake and the Kid, as an actor and story editor. Marty then wrote his own television pilot, The Orange Seed Myth and Other Lies Mothers Tell, based on his radio commentaries. In November 1998, watch for the upcoming stage production of Mom, Dad, I'm Living with a White Girl, the play which was a smash hit in Toronto.
