Kildare (School) Dance Group

The Kildare (School) Dance Group was founded ten years ago as a troupe of young performers, aged approximately five to eleven years of age. They have performed in Vancouver for competition twice, winning several gold and silver medals. They have also performed by invitation at the Alberta Provincial Museum, the City Hall in Edmonton, the Jubilee Auditorium, at Klondike Days, Heritage Days and other events. Currently under the direction of teacher Zheng Xiao Mei, the eleven members include: Laura Chee, Eva Shiu, Corina Chew, Cindy Du, Melanie Wong, Michelle Wong, Melissa Shu, Karmen Kwan, Winnie Law, Toby Law and Lisa Thang. Parent coordinator is Mrs. Kalina Kwan. Their performances include the "Bucket Dance" and the "Fan Dance".
