Kenda Gee

[Hua Symbol] Kenda Gee is a non-fiction writer and editorialist. A former editor of Chinacity, he is a Visiting Scholar/Writer at the Canadian Studies Centre, University of Washington, Seattle. He has researched the biographies of Chinese Canadian sports icons and is currently working on the early stages in writing/direction of a National Film Board of Canada documentary on the first Asian Canadian hockey player in the N.H.L., Larry Kwong. A graduate of the University of Alberta and Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto, he was the recipient of a United Nations Secretariat graduate internship with the Offices of Political and Legal Affairs in New York. In addition to recent media appearances in Canada, a forthcoming interview with him in the literary Rampike is scheduled for this year.
