Joseph C. Lai

Hong Kong born Lai has studied piano since he was three years old. He has studied with such noted artists as Gyorgy Sebok, Kendall Taylor, and Claude Frank. Joseph has won numerous prizes for his musical talents, including honours from the Western Board of Music and the Canadian Music Competitions. He has performed on the CTV series Feature Artist. In 1997, he released his debut CD Dedications, and now he is composing an orchestral work for the Edmonton Senior Youth Orchestra. It will premiere in October, 1998.
